Root and Install TWRP Recovery on Panasonic Eluga Ray X with PC

Prerequiste
You must have to ensure that prior to rooting your phone , you have read thoroughly the disclaimer and you agree to proceed further on your risk.
- Phone Should be Charged
Your phone must be 70% charged atleast else, it may lead to complications sometimes while experimenting. Why to take risk, try to charge it fully.
- Back Up
If you are either going to root your phone or install a Custom ROM, it is a good habit to make a back up of your phone. Make a back up of all your media like images, videos and all on your PC and your contacts on Cloud.
- Enable USB Debugging
You must enable USB debugging option by going in to Settings, Applications and Developer options.

How to Flash/ Install TWRP on Panasonic Eluga Ray X
Method 1
Step 1: Assuming that you have already downloaded the Recovery.img and SP Flash Tool. Now, Install he ADB drivers for your device.
Step 2: Open the SP Flash Tool by right clicking the icon and select ‘Run ad administrator’. Because it requires admin rights to work correctly.
Step 3: Now, select the Scatter File. Then select option ‘download only’.
Step 4: On the next screen, select the ‘Recovery.img’ downloaded earlier.
Step 5: Now just ‘flash’ and wait for process to be finished.
Method 2
Step 1: Assuming that you have already download ADB Drivers and TWRP Recovery file for Panasonic Eluga Ray X.
Step 2: Enable USB Debugging. Open Settings> About> Software Information> More and then tap on ‘Build number’ five times. Now, go back to settings and then Developer Options>USB Debugging.
Step 3: Now, place the ADB drivers and recovery file to the same folder and then rename the recovery file to recovery.img.
Step 4: Run ADB Terminal (right click icon and Run as Administrator, and then run the following commands, one by one:
adb devices
adb bootloader
fastboot recovery.img
fastboot reboot
That’s all. This process has unblocked bootloader of your Panasonic Eluga Ray and also flashed the TWRP recovery.
How to Root Panasonic Eluga Ray X / Install SuperSU
Make sure that you have downloaded SuperSU (link in pre-requisite section of this article). Then, proceed to the steps.
Step 1: Transfer the downloaded SuperSU.zip file to the internal storage / SD card of your Panasonic Eluga Ray X smartphone.
Step 2: Now, just boot into the recovery. From the TWRP interface, you can optionally backup the Stock ROM. Though I would recommend to backup the Stock ROM. Because if in case process gets failed, you can flash the Stock ROM.
