Nokia 1 Plus updated to Android 10 (Go Edition) in various markets

Nokia Mobile is on beast mode to release the latest firmware updates to their handsets. Till now in April, HMD Global has launched updates for 13 of their handsets, and now Nokia 1 Plus is the latest and fourteenth in the list of getting the update.

The news of the update was shared by Juho Sarvikas on Twitter

As the company did with previous updates, the Android 10 Go edition would too do in the phases, and almost all of the markets have received the update till now, as it was scheduled to roll out between 2nd and 4th May across several approved markets. Bahrain, Bangladesh, Egypt, Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Malaysia, Morocco, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, Yemen.

Android 10 Go update for Nokia 1 Plus Highlights

As per the reports, the Android 10 (Edition) update improves the overall functionality and privacy settings of the device. The new firmware comes with the latest encryption ‘Adiantum’, and all of the Stock Apps including Google Go and YouTube Go are also upgraded with the new features.

Nokia 1 Plus Key Features and Specifications

To recall, Nokia 1 Plus features thick bezels at the top and bottom side of the device, whereas display measures 5.45-inch in size and 480×960 pixels resolution, which offers the aspect ration of 18:9. The handsets are available in three color variants of Black, Red, and Blue. The smartphone runs on a 1.5GHz Mediatek processor, paired with 1GB RAM and 8GB/16GB internal storage. The battery has 2500mAh capacity. Other key specifications include, 4G LTE< FM Radio, headphone jack, and WiFi.
