  1. Charge up your phone battery; make sure that your battery should be more than 65%.
  2. Set up backup for important data.
  3. If you are connecting 1st time your Xperia Z1 to PC then install the USB driver.
  4. Enable USB debugging mode in your phone by this procedure

Menu > Settings > Applications > Developer Options

  2. Connect your Xperia Z1 with PC.
  3. On the upper left corner a red font will be displayed saying that your device isn’t rooted.
  4. For starting the root operation, tap on the green button in the bottom right corner. Your process will start automatically.
  5. When it’ll complete, you’ll get message “Congratulations, rooting is successful. It’ll be in Chinese.
  6. All you need to get root permission now.
  7. To do so, tap on the green button in the bottom right corner.
  8. On the top left corner of your Smartphone, you will see a successfully rooted message.
