Hi Gents, I have bought a Leagoo T5 including Android 7 Nougat.
I have got with global software and OTA upgradeable, and I set up my phone with Hungarian language.
My problem is that the default ringtone “Leagoo-turkish” cannot replaced with any small .MP3 file or any other supported audio file. The message tone and signal tones are fixed too, cannot replaced.
I have installed the OTA update to get version :
leagoo_T5_OS2.1_E_ 20170822
but nothing changed…
Please suggest anything to solve the problem!
Thanks in advance Janos VAD
Hello Janos,
The tones can be easily replaced, I have done it on my own Leagoo T5. You just download the MP3 you want and select Custom Ringtone from the sound settings
Hi Orestis, I thinked the same originally, but regret to say it won’t work. I tried to make with 5 different mp3’s, very short to medium lenght. But doesn’t work, remaining the factory setting, ‘Leagoo-turkish’. Please help, if you have anything other in mind!
Hello János, I just downloaded the hydra-ringtone and cricket sound for the messages in Mp3 format (about 25KB and 11KB respectively in 44Khz) and used the Custom Ringtone option. Perhaps there are restrictions with regards to the bitrate. I haven’t played around with more mp3s, since I find these two sounds to be more audible than music, as ringtones, but I’ll see if I can check with a different mp3 file.
Hello Orestis, thnx for your kind help, already downloaded too, I’ll try the sounds! Thanks again…
Hi Orestis, regret to say it also not working, I’ve downloaded lot of simple mp3’s (hydra and others too) but not working. I cannot replace via the custom ringtone menu, It seems to setted up, but remaining the Leagoo turkish ringtone…
I tried from the download folder, from the ringtone folder, from the root of the SD-card,.. Nothing. Any other idea?
