Those who were wondering to install the latest Stock ROM Firmware on your device, can now rejoice as they can flash the latest software on their device.

LG has officially released the Stock Android 7.0 Nougat for the LG K10 MS428. The Android 7.0 Nougat is latest, and predecessor to the about to be released, Android 8.0 O software. How to update LG K10 MS428 to MS_428_V20F Stock/ Untouched Android 7.0 Nougat via OTA (Over the air)

Note: For this method, you won’t need to download any file mentioned in pre-requisite section of this article. You can directly follow the below steps, if you prefer the OTA method.

You can directly check the latest version of firmware/ software available for your device, LG K10 MS428 by navigating to:

Settings > About Device > Software Updates

When a new software update is available for your device, the notifications panel will display the software update message. Just you need to pull down the notification bar, and then press ‘Software Update’, and this will begin the upgrade process of device LG K10 MS428 to latest MS_428_V20F, based on Android 7.0 Nougat.

If in-case you have not received the software update, then just follow the below guides, to flash firmware (.pac) manually through either below guide. Step 1: Transfer the downloaded MS428_v20F_TWRP.zip file to the internal storage / SD card of your LG K10 MS428 smartphone.

Step 2: Now, just boot into the recovery. From the TWRP interface, you can optionally backup the Stock ROM. Though, I would recommend to backup the Stock ROM. Because if in case process gets failed, you can flash the Stock ROM.

Step 3: Tap on Install ‘, and then navigate to the file ‘MS428_v20F_TWRP.zip’ and swipe to confirm flash (located at the bottom of the screen). The flashing process of MS428_v20F (Rooted) has been started and will take few seconds to complete.
